What key issues / topics will you stand for in your role as MLA, and why are these important to you?
Healthcare, Crime, and Education are on the top of my list. I just want to make it clear though, that all issues are important, I just prioritize those three first. Most issues are connected though, for example, reducing homelessness and addictions would also reduce crime.
Along with many Manitobans, I rely on the Healthcare system. A healthy population, means a healthy Manitoba. I have also worked in the Justice system for eleven years, and have witnessed first hand how broken the system can be. Education is important for the future of this province. Without a solid education system, how can we expect the next generation to thrive and do better than us.
